Whatever Wednesday is when we explore all the different ways that What-EVER! spray can be used around the house. It is an amazingly versatile little workhorse and because it is so safe and friendly, the uses are endless. If you'd like to share the unique ways you use What-EVER in your life, post a link in the comments or email me kate at cleanhappens dot com and tell me about it.
Today I got a new stove. Don't even get me started on the fact that my old stove was in fact adolescent at best, but in order to fix my 5 year old stove, I was going to have to spend nearly as much as buying a new one. When did appliances become disposable?! My grandparents had the same toaster for 40 years. I've been through 3 in the last 5. (Though to be fair the last one died after Eleanor toasted an entire peeled banana in it.) See? I told you not to get me started.
When the delivery guys showed up this morning, they pulled out the old stove and you can imagine what it was like back there. Ok, not that bad. But, there was a gooey mess. I apologize for the quality of the photo. My camera was upstairs and I was trying to avoid being the "crazy-lady topic du jour" back at the warehouse by discreetly taking the picture while the workers were at the truck grabbing the new stove. So, we are stuck with a crappy cellphone picture.
That mess in the front was pretty sticky/greasy and I was a little surprised at how easily What-EVER handled it, the drips down the cabinets, too. I had to wait until after the workers left and have Mr. Frowzy pull the stove back out, so I could take the after picture.
And that will the last time it looks this way for the next 5 years...when we'll need to buy a new stove.
