Whatever Wednesday is when we explore all the different ways that What-EVER spray can be used around the house. It is an amazingly versatile little workhorse and because it is so safe and friendly, the uses are endless. If you'd like to share the unique ways you use What-Ever in your life, post a link in the comments or email me and tell me about it. kate at cleanhappens dot com
My fabulous next door neighbors, Charlie and Al, gave my kids a great easel for Christmas. One side is a chalk board and the other side is a white board and it has a roll of paper you can feed through for painting/drawing. It's a great gift!
The problem is the whole white board thing. My kids don't get the dry-erase marker thing. And since all of their markers are washable, they didn't get the permanent thing either. Somebody decided to paint on it. (Not too big of a deal, they were only watercolors.) But then, one of the kids found Rosie's swim meet permanent marker and decided (God bless em) to do math problems on the white board. It ended up looking like this.
and it stayed like this for about a month. So, last night I pulled out a bottle of What-EVER and a microfiber scrubby cloth and went to work. I figured all the watercolor would come off, but frankly I had little hope for the Sharpie. After one washing it looked like this. About what I'd expect. (notice the lurking creepy kitty)
I sprayed it again and did some more finger scrubbing with my cloth and made some more improvement.
I admit, I thought this was as good as it was going to get and frankly I was impressed. But, what the heck let's spray and scrub it again.
Wow. pretty nice. But, let's try it one more time.
I gotta say. I was really surprised. There are still a few marks that you can't really see in this picture, but I was not expecting it to get this clean at all. I wish it had been this easy to get the Sharpie "eyeshadow" and tattoos off the two year old.

lol…‘eyeshadow’ and ‘tattoos’. I don’t know what mine was thinking a 2 1/2 years ago either but here’s a pic – http://twitpic.com/bzirn
