Method has many ingredients that are not safe for people and surfaces in the home. The first on the list is alcohol which is a respiratory and skin irritant. Not only is alcohol an irritant to people, it’s also an irritant to surfaces in your home. Method also contains synthetic fragrances which also are respiratory and skin irritants. Additionally synthetic fragrances are a central nervous system depressant and toxic. Does Better Life contain Sulfates? Never. But Method does. Sulfates (SLS) are irritating to skin and eyes, and may contain a possible carcinogen, 1,4 Dioxane. What about Ethoxylates? Yes, Method has Ethoxylates too which are linked to cancer and sterility not to mention 1,4-Dioxane. Ethoxylates are also a threat to marine life. Method also contains Petrochemical Solvents which are a respiratory and skin irritant, damages surfaces and are toxic.
