What are the Holiday Shipping Deadlines?

To ensure delivery before Christmas order before the dates below: 

Ground Shipping: December 18 (noon CST)
FedEx Express Saver: December 18 (noon CST)
FedEx 2 Day: December 22 (noon CST)
FedEx Overnight: December 23 (noon CST)

What do I do if my product is frozen from shipping transit?

Sometimes product can get frozen during shipment around the colder months of the year. We put our products through rigorous testing, including freezing and thawing the products to make sure the efficacy was never compromised. If you find that some of your product has frozen, allow the product to thaw and come to room temperature. You may see some of the ingredients have separated. Just shake the bottle for 30 seconds and the product will then be fine to use.

WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING POLICY?

How does the FREE shipping option work?

If you spend $25 or more, shipping is FREE to the 48 lower states. For shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or APO boxes, please email customerservice@cleanhappens.com. Any international shipments do not quality for free shipping.

Tracking Your Order

When your order ships, you will receive an email with shipping and tracking information. Your tracking number will provide tracking information including anticipated delivery date of your package. Orders are shipped Monday-Friday.

Shipping Carriers

Free Shipping for order of $25 or more applies only to the lower 48 States.   Orders shipped via FREE Standard Shipping are shipped either FedEx SmartPost, FedEx Ground or U.S. Postal Service. Unfortunately, there is no way to guarantee that your order will be shipped via a specific method when you choose these delivery options.

Orders shipped 2-day, 1-day and overnight are all shipped via FedEx. Please note when using expedited shipping methods we cannot request or guarantee delivery by a specific time. Please refer to FedEx for specific delivery times. For overnight and 1-day shipping, orders received before noon CST Monday to Friday (except holidays) will begin to process the same day. Orders received after the cutoff time will begin to process the next business day. 

All other orders will be processed and shipped within 2-3 business days.

*Please be sure to enter a physical address as orders cannot be shipped to a PO Box.

 

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS AVAILABLE IN CANADA?

We expect to greatly expand our distribution in Canada in 2015.  In the meantime, visit http://www.bettercleancanada.com/, a Canadian online retailer who carries Better Life (saves on shipping!).

WHAT IF I RECEIVED A DAMAGED PRODUCT?

Whether you receive your package with a leaky bottle or a broken trigger sprayer, please contact us. BETTER LIFE will be happy to replace the damaged/defective items in your order. Please email us at or call 877-256-4767 and press 1 (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm CST) and let us know:

  • Your name and order number
  • Item(s) you received damaged or defective

If you are having trouble with our website you can call us at call us at 877-256-4767 and press 1 (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm CST) or email us with your name, email address, phone number and description of your problem/question and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

If you are looking to return a product we are sorry to hear you want to return the item. You may return items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, minus the return shipping cost. Please email us or call 877-256-4767 and press 2 (Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM) and let us know the following:

  • Your name and order number
  • Item(s) you would like to return
  • Why you are returning (we may have a tip or trick that will help if you are not satisfied with the performance of the product as that takes care of about 99.9% of any customers looking to return a product)

If we are not able to resolve your problem, we will issue you an authorization number for the return.

HOW DO I OPEN MY BAG IN A BOX 5 GALLON PRODUCT?

Have you noticed our new packaging for 5 gallon bulk products? Below is why we switched from the plastic cube to the Bag in a box system:

  • reduced plastic consumption
  • 99.9% dispensing - no product left in the bottom of the plastic cube
  • much faster dispensing without having to add a vent and no foaming

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS SAFE FOR SEPTIC SYSTEMS?

Yes! Better Life products use a blend of natural surfactants, derived only from sustainable plant sources that lead to a happy septic system.

All Better Life products are formulated to be safe, effective and completely biodegradable. In fact many of our products meet the 28 day European Standard for "Readily Biodegradable" classification in 10 days or less! This means our cleaners are a great solution for the 25% of US homes using septic systems.

I HAVE A COCONUT ALLERGY. CAN I USE BETTER LIFE PRODUCTS?

Our lotions (Cool Calm Collected and Work It Own It) and our kitchen & bath scrubber (Even the Kitchen Sink) contain coconut oil as an ingredient. Anyone with an allergy to coconut should not use these products.

Our dish soaps (Dish it Out), hands soaps (No Regrets and Go Forth & Conquer), and laundry detergents (Spin-Credible) contain potassium cocoate (castile soap) which is derived from coconut oil. Potassium cocoate (castile soap) is a processed ingredient which uses heat to produce the castile soap. However, people with severe coconut allergies should consider this when deciding whether to use these products.

All other products that have coconut-based ingredients are processed at high temps that de-neutralize the protein so no allergic reaction should occur. However, if you still have concerns we encourage you to please consult your allergist/doctor for their recommendations.
